Venue

The HIS 2010 Conference will take place in the BT Conference Centre, Liverpool, UK.

The BT Conference Centre provides conference and exhibition facilities of the highest standard. The BT Conference Centre and Echo Arena make up the ‘ACC Liverpool’ a multi-functional venue situated on the River Mersey. The new conference centre is Purpose-built, unique, flexible and one of the largest in the UK. It benefits from state of the art technology with cutting edge design ensuring our conference to be a success.

A commercial exhibition of pharmaceutical and equipment suppliers will be held in conjunction with the conference and will be open from the evening of Sunday 10 October until Wednesday 13 October. The exhibition and delegate catering will all take place within Hall 2 of the BT Conference Centre. Lunch, tea and coffee will be served in the exhibition hall and the Conference will open with an informal Welcome Reception held in this area, further ensuring maximum contact between exhibitors and delegates.

Commercial Stands

The charge per square metre for stand rental is as follows:

£425.00 plus VAT for bookings received up to and including 31 December 2009
£495.00 plus VAT for bookings received from 1 January 2010 onwards.

The stand fee is inclusive of the following exhibitor services on-site:

• Shell Scheme Package (optional): Modular stand, fascia board and choice of Furniture Package
• Barcode Reader, one per stand
• Company name badges for two persons per 9 square metres
• Tea/coffee for two persons per 9 square metres
• Lunch for two persons per 9 square metres
• Free editorial entry (50 words) in the Final Programme/Exhibition Catalogue
• Exhibition Technical Manual
• Ambient heating and lighting
• Daily cleaning of the aisles and common areas
• Attendance at the Welcome Reception

There are no electrics included in the Stand Packages; these should be ordered through the official contractor.

Please note that while our sponsors will be given priority choice of stand location, early commitment will ensure that your company secures a prominent site.

Charity Stands

Registered charity stands are offered exhibition space at £1,000.00 for 6sqm. Bookings for charity stands will only be accepted on or after 1st March 2010.

Technical Manual

A Technical Manual giving further general and technical information, advice and full details about the exhibition, venue, organisers and ancillary services available to exhibitors will be circulated in April 2010.
